Course Instructor
Dr. Malaya Mohanty
Dr. Malaya Mohanty is presently working as Assistant Professor at KIIT Deemed to be University, India. He works in the area of Traffic Engineering, mainly in the field of traffic operations, management, control, and safety. During his masters, he had worked on aspects of traffic safety on hilly roads. Further, different problems experienced by road users while driving through median openings in India under heterogeneous traffic conditions was studied in detail by him during his Ph.D. He is interested in all the aspects of traffic engineering like traffic flow, delay, congestion, safety and its analysis using statistics and validating them with the real field data. He is involved in various consultancy projects in the field of traffic engineering and traffic forecasting.
