This course intends to build a strong foundation of machine learning, one of the cutting-edge skills. Theoretical knowledge on ML basics and python programming are the two key contents of the course. Course will begin with lectures on technical elements of machine learning and various terminologies. Mathematical formulations leading to linear regression, logistic regression and various classification are covered in brief. Lectures in the later part of the course are on python environment setting and familiarization to commonly used ML packages. Course includes programing demonstrations on classification and regression addressing real-world applications. Course will give exposure of working with tabular and image data.
